 E-commerce is a type of business model that focuses on carrying out commercial transactions across electronic networks such as the Internet. E-commerce stands for "electronic commerce". We can also write it without the hyphen, i.e. e-commerce. In short words; E-commerce is any business that takes place online. Any business can operate using e-commerce platforms.
